how to Conditional format a cell with a drop down list with a different text value depending on another cell which has a date entered.

A
B

1

2

If A1:Z1 uses a drop down list containing multiple items ie. review, checked, completed and B1 has a date which is manually entered when completed, can A1 be formatted to then show the word 'closed'?

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
Conditional formatting doesn't change values in the cells its applied to, only the format of those cells.
