Anyone Care to assist w/ the scenario below?

If the Value in Cell W22 is ever a negative number, color W21's cell's background green.

I know how to color, just fuzzy on the formula text itself.

Thank you

Excel Facts

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
Hmm... that may work, though here's the part I left out. The formula below is already typed into that cell. Can I add multiple somehow as with experienced before using Conditional Formatting?

=SUM(W21-W14)

Thank you,
Rick

Is that formula in W22?

Regardless, the CF setting should catch if W21 is <0 and change it accordingly.

Never mind.... I answered my own question when I inferred that i would use Con. formatting in my Subject header!

Lol.. Thanks .. it worked GREAT!

Hi Rick
The formula that Smitty gave you is for the conditional format not for the cell itself.
It doesn't matter if there is a value OR a formula in the cell.
