Hi, Excel beginner here and I am trying to create a form with checkboxes that when checked create a text output into a single cell. I have been able to create the checkboxes and get the formulas to work so that all of the text outputs combine into a single cell using the concatenate function. My question is if there is a way to get the text to populate the cell based upon the order the boxes are checked and not the cell order of the text? I need this function as the text order will vary depending on what is discussed in a meeting and I need to keep the text in order of the conversation.

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
Hello

What about dedicating a (very hidden?) worksheet to record check box entries as they occur?

So when the form initialises, the worksheet cells are cleared.
As a checkbox is checked, add its ID & value to the worksheet.
Some thing like,
put the first one's ID in cell A1, and the user's entry in B1
then the next one's ID in A2, and the user's entry in B2
then the next in A3, and B3, etc

If any check box entries are cleared, you can find their data from the ID in column A and delete the entire row.

And if any check boxes are edited, there would be a two step process in the code. First remove the previous record as for a clearance, and then add the new value as a new record at the bottom of the list.

When all are done, you have the text you want in order down column B: B1, B2, B3, B4, etc
So just join the values to get the result you're after.

OK?
