I want to graph the composition of a group over time. I want to create an area graph, where you can see what kinds of things were in the group at any given year . There are, let's say, three categories of things: A, B, and C - and I have the purchase and sale date for each.

Appreciate any help I can get!

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
Insert > Charts > Area > Select Graph you want > Right click on the box newly created > Select Data > Drag & Click the Data range you want (A:C) > OK

I know how to create a graph. I've tried to do what I want to do, with various alterations, but have failed repeatedly. First of all I cannot manage to put time (in years) in the X axis. And then the rest is also very confusing.
