Hi there, I have what appears to me, a complicated issue with the IF formula and as a newbie I'm not sure that this is the best route to go. I have a workbook which contains 3 worksheets. In a specific cell of worksheet 2, I have to ask the following question in order to return a value based on data in worksheets 2 & 3 within the workbook. In worksheet 2 I have a range of cells that have radio buttons for an either or value. I also have a drop down table which shows the months of the year.

The question refers to 2 specific cells in worksheet 2 and then a specific cell in worksheet 3. The basic question to ask is "IF cell x(radio button) is active and IF cell y(drop down list) shows a specific month, then display the value of the referenced cell in worksheet 3. This has to be repeated for 10 radio buttons x 12 months x 12 possible replies

I know it sounds complicated but I'm prepared to email the workbook if anybody cares to follow this up.

Thanks for any help

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
Welcome to MrExcel -- can you give a concrete example of the above, giving actual range references?

I'm guessing this might be handled by INDEX/MATCH but don't have enough info to tell...
