I am running Excel 2000 and I am having a wierd problem when I use mid or right string commands. Every time I have one of those 2 commands in my code I get "compile error can't find project or library" . Anybody have any clues? I'm fairly certain that I have everything correct because the code runs on another computer that I have excel 97 on.

Spell Check in Excel
Press F7 to start spell check in Excel. Be careful, by default, Excel does not check Capitalized Werds (whoops)
I've experienced the same problem. No one knew what the problem was but I finally stumbled upon an answer. Open the VBA editor, and click on TOOLS > REFERENCES. you will get a list of available references and some of them will have check marks in front of them and one of these will probably say MISSING. uncheck the one(s) that say missing and you should be in business.
