Hi All,

I have read in documents, threads & videos, that Excel 2010 files that contain Dashboards or graphs created by Powerpivot, cannot be displayed by Excel 2007 version of office. Is there any way to by-pass this issue? Because my boss does not have the money to change all users' Excel version to 2010 but he needs the tool (Powerpivot) in the same time.

I am a bit desperate on that issue.
My Best Regards to All of You in the Forum & to Mr. Bill.
Thank you.

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
The files can be displayed, but users will not be able to interact with the model or pivot tables:

Unfortunately, there is no free way lunch.

If you have SharePoint 2010 Enterprise, with PowerPivot for SharePoint installed, you can publish the files to SharePoint and users will be able to check the files online, without needing the client.

You can try and convince your boss to upgrade to Office 2010. Note that MS offers licensing programs to avoid these sort frustrations and make sure your software is always up-to-date (check licensing.microsoft.com/ and also Software Assurance).

MS also offers Office 365 which allows you to rent the latest Office software along with SharePoint, Exchange, Lync, ... functionalities.

Alternatively, you might also want to check PivotStream's offering.
