Comparing two ranges using COUNTIFS

Hi All,

I'm having a bit of an issue where I want to compare one date to an adjacent date as a condition in a countifs. My current workaround is:

=COUNTIFS(Kanbanize!V:V,">="&DATE(2018,6,1),Kanbanize!V:V,"<="&DATE(2018,6,30),Kanbanize!W:W,1)

Where Kanbanize!W:W has a value of 1 or 0 and is derived by the following IF on every row of my data:

=IF(AND(ISBLANK(V2)=FALSE,N2>V2),1,0)

Where N2 and V2 are dates.

Is it possible to do this without having to create a new column in my data? I've seen references to SUMPRODUCT, but I can't make heads or tales of them.

Any help would be appreciated! Let me know if you need further details.

Cheers,
Mike
