Hello everyone,

I need to compare a list of 300 emails, which is one file, to another list of 4k emails in another file. I would like the emails that are found on the 4k list to be automatically highlighted. I have tried VLOOUP with a series of different settings and I have tried Conditional Formatting with a formula, but to no use. Help!

Try this in cond format, F8 is the 1st record to be checked, the C8:C12 change to your range to compare to
=MATCH(F8,$C$8:$C$12,0)
Copy format down range

You could use a helper column beside your 300 emails data and include the formula =IF(ISTEXT(VLOOKUP(A1,$H$11:$H$13,1,0)),1,0)
Adjust ranges as necessary.
Then in conditional formatting, highlight the range and add the formula: =$B1>0
