Compare two tables and highlight differences

I would like to use conditional formatting to compare cell to cell in these two tables and highlight differences:

  • green color when TABLE 1's cell is greater than corresponding cell in TABLE 2
  • orange color when TABLE 1's cell is less than its respective cell in TABLE 2
  • no color when corresponding cells are equal
How could I achieve that? :)

select the range
and then
Table1cell > table2cell - format green
formula should do it for you
2nd rule
Table1cell < table2cell - format orange

and do you also want table 2 coloured ?
in which case you would select table 2
and setup 2 rules
Table1cell < table2cell - format green
Table1cell > table2cell - format orange
