Compare to columns

In cell j2 need to compare h2 and c2 to o2 and r2, if they are the same then j2 = c2, otherwise j2=c2.

Hi there. Your request doesn't seem to make sense, you seem to want j2 to = c2 regardless. If I assume you meant 'otherwise j2=h2' then this would do it: In cell j2 type =IF(AND(h2=o2,c2=r2),c2,h2)
