Hi there,

I have two Excel 2010 workbooks with single worksheets in both. Each worksheet has a column of cell phone numbers.

What I'm trying to do is to compare the cell phone numbers in each column and then output the number which is not common to both columns. This uncommon number needs to be listed in another results column starting in row 1 so that I don't have to manually scroll through thousands of possible results scattered down the results column.

I would prefer to use the columns from the two workbooks rather than having to copy & paste both columns into another worksheet so I can work on them.

Thank you so much for any help that you can offer this newbie

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
