Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Hi,

I know of three types of ComboBox in Excel. I am going to guess that you are using an ActiveX ComboBox on the Worksheet. If that is not the case then please state which type you are using.

1. Make sure you are in Design Mode. That is an icon on the Developer tab. If you do not have a Developer tab then you should look at this: https://www.techonthenet.com/excel/questions/developer_tab2013.php
2. When in Design Mode, right click the ComboBox and select Properties.
3. Change the default blank setting for ListRange into the range with your list in it.

I hope this helps,
