Hello, sorry for the vague title I'm not sure how to summarize what I'm trying to do.

I have a line and clustered column combo pivot chart where date is the axis, values are something like "Amount Increase" and "% Increase" and the legend is a Project.

A project will have a value for both % increase (line) and amount increase (column), and I would like both the line and the column for the project to default to the same color.

So for example I have Project A and Project B, I would like both the line and column to be red for Project A and blue for Project B, and if a new project is added it is automatically syncing the colors of the new line and column to any color as long as they are the same for both chart types.

I know I can manually change them to match, but that doesn't prevent the scenario of a new project being added to the data set and excel's default behavior to make them a different legend and color.

Any options for me?

Thank you!

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
