I am trying to add a combo box to an existing database that has a drop down option to give you two choices one is "active" the other "inactive". I set it up just fine useing the control wizard but when I try it out it gives the same selection for every record. How do I make it so that whatever option is selected for that record stays with that record.

Thank you for your help

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
Hey lsearcey

Firstly, open your table in design view and select the fields. In your properties window (just Press F6), select the lookup tab and make sure that the "Row Source Type" is set to "Value List". Also, see that the list is indeed a list of more than one option. The "Row Source" should look like so:

'Active';'InActive'

Try that.

Every thing is set the way your described but the same result still is happening When I select "Active as my choice every record has that option. The same thing happens when I select "Inactive" as my choice. Is there a way to make a selection and have it stay with that record only?
Thanks,
