combo box help

hello all,
i have a combo box that i select a number from 1 to 10.
this number is then linked to cell d9.
what i need is when the number is selected, lets say 4. excel looks at d9 and associates another action with that number value.
so d9 says number 4 this then opens up another sheet on excel(say sheet 4), when number 2 is entered it selects another worksheet (sheet 2). etc etc. this is where i will put other information, how do i make it make that link for me.

that worked a treat,
if i was to change the numbers to text, which i have, i get an error.
what do i need to do if i want text instead of numbers, and still jump to a specified sheet depending on the text.
i assume i have opened a different can of worms.

What sort of text?. The entries in the combo box selection need to match your sheet names

the text will be something like a document name for example:
OP001 - Waste Pre-Acceptance - Rev2
ill explain what i am trying to acheive, when that is selected in the combobox i want it to jump to a another sheet preferably sheet1 or a sheet entitled OP001 - Waste Pre-Acceptance - Rev2. on that sheet there will be further information to do with that documemt. i will populate the blank sheets at a later point with other information.

Provided that the entry in the combox list is the same as the sheet name, although if you have a few you might consider using hyperlinks instead
