Continuing to work down page 225 of Pivot Table Data Crunching for MS EXCEL 2007.

Point number 2 on that page states:-

"Activate the Forms toolbar and place a combo box onto your spreadsheet"

Fine, I have done that.

Now it goes on to say:-

"3. Create a hard-coded list of all the markets that exist in your pivot table."

What the book fails to state is HOW to do this.

Can anybody assist here please?

Column E of my underlying data for the Pivot Table is called:-

Market

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
How about typing out this list in cells on a worksheet?

I think that might be what is being suggested - but then again I've never actually read the book, or any book about how to use Excel.

PS Please don't say again that the book is wrong.:)
