combining multiple sheets

I have a workbook with 6 sheets...5 for each salesman and a total sheet. the sheets for the salesmen have an item number and quantity sold each month (13 columns total) I would like to summarize the sheets for the salesmen on he total sheet without using a pivot table. Also each sheet will not have the same items sold.

Any help would be appreciated.

Include a detailed explanation of what you would like to do referring to specific cells and worksheets.

If the workbook contains confidential information, you could replace it with generic data.
