Hi everyone!

I have one sheet that has all of my data and I have a second sheet that has one column (barcode) that is the same at the first sheet.

Lets say there are 1000 items (rows) with unique barcodes on each row in sheet 1 and on the other sheet there is 100 of those items with different information in an extra column but matching barcodes.

I would like to match up the 100 random items from the 2nd sheet with the 1st sheet. adding the extra column to the first sheet and including the info from that extra column to the 1st sheet.

now 1 sheet will have the info in the new column only in the rows of the 100 items that were in the 2nd sheet.

900 items will have no info in the new column..

both sheets have a unique barcode that can be used to match or align the two sets of data

I feel like this should be easy but I cant figure it out. probably super obvious but can get it to click

thanks

Matt
