Hi Mr. Excel Fam.,

Please advise:
How would I create a formula string that performs Vlookup to pull data from another cell, and combine it with a formula that continues with an If formula.

For example: =Vlookup(...)Then(If...,)

Really appreciate any input!

Thank you!

MK

Excel Facts

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
On getting the Vlookup result, concatenate it with the if formula.

For example, =vlookup("a",a1:a10,1,false)&if(a1="a","+","-")
