Combining Excel Documents and matching the data

I have 6 excel documents that I need to combine into one large excel document with one sheet on it. I need it set up to where if changes were to be made on one of the 6 excel documents, it would be reflected on the large excel document. Each excel document contains things like name, position, phone number, etc., but each document has something that overlaps with one of the others. Once the files combine, i need them to all match with the correct person and have the correct information for the person.
