Hello,

In Sheet 1, I have to pull a value in H4 where we look up the value in B4 within Column A in Sheet 2. However, I don't want to specify a constant column number within Sheet 2 to return the value, like we would for a standard VLOOKUP. The value I want to return in that Column H cell needs to be from the column in Sheet 2 where the column header is today's date. Can someone advise how I can go about creating this formula? I will gladly provide more information if need be. Thanks!

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand

Hello,

Can't access an online storage site from where I am (restricted internet use). Can someone recreate the scenario around my inquiry with the information I have provided below? Let me know if I can clarify further.

Sheet 1
B4 = Dog
H4 = (needs a formula which pulls $5, see below)

Sheet 2
-Some cell in Column A = Dog
-Some cell in header row 1= Today's date (my thought is that the dates increase as you go left to right through the columns (ex. F1 is today, G1 is tomorrow, etc.). But today's date could appear anywhere in that row.
-In that column with today's date as the header, in the same row where we found "Dog" in Column A, is a value of $5.

Thanks,

Mike
