Combine Files Issue - Picking up Newly Added Columns

Hello

I'm using the combine files method to suck in ~50 files which are identical in structure but differ in content (e.g. 1 for each different supplier) if that makes sense. Each of the 50 files has 45 fields.

Yesterday I discovered a need to add a 46th field to newly added files to the folder only, i.e. from the 51st file and beyond. During testing, I found that the refresh picks up the 51st file but the new 46th field is missing. I've examined the M code to see if 45 is coded in there somewhere, but it isn't. Therefore I'm at a loss as to how to pick up the new field.

Anybody know the answer?
Thanks

Excel Facts

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
Somewhere in your query you probably have something like a Table.ExpandTableColumns step that specifies the columns to extract from the table returned for each file. You'll need to add to the list of column names.
