Columns Expanded Visually but actual number size is still the same

All,

I was typing away in a cell on excel when suddenly, I noticed all my columns expanded in width. When I look at the actual column size number, they didn't change. How do i get this spreadsheet to go back to normal?

Did the magnification (bottom right corner of the Excel worksheet window) increase?

Since you havent said that you saved the file, I would close the spreadsheet without saving and reopen it.
Try editing what you're doing again and see if it recurs.

I didn't zoom in... the formatting became wider in every cell... but it's not... look at the column width number
