Column will not hide

I have an unprotected workbook, but when trying to hide columns, I does not hide the selected columns


It would be appreciated if someone could advise me

I did , but it will not hide. I suspect it may have to do with memory because if I close the file &reopen the column will hide


I use various macros which may be resource hungry
