When you double click on the line between 2 column Letters is automatically makes the column width fit the widest cell value. Is there a way to set excel or a work sheet to always automatically adjust the column width to the widest value?

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
There is no way of a configuration.
But you can put the following macro in the ThisWorkbook events.
This will make every time you select a sheet, all columns automatically adjust.

Code:
Private Sub Workbook_SheetActivate(ByVal Sh As Object)
    Sh.Cells.EntireColumn.AutoFit
End Sub

IN THISWORKBOOK
Place this macro in the code module for ThisWorkbook. Do the following: Hold down the ALT key and press the F11 key. This will openthe Visual Basic Editor. In the left hand pane, double click on "ThisWorkbook". Copy/paste the macro into the empty window that opens up.
Close the window to return to your sheet. Save the workbook as a macro-enabled file.
