How can I colour a cell with a different colour depending on the value selected from a drop down box?

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Hi,
You can use Conditional Formatting.
"Format"-"Conditional Formmating"
Put Cell value to be the one from drop down list, and in Format go to patterns and select colour.
The bad thing is that you can have only three conditions, meaning that you can have only three different numbers from drop down list.
Myybe someone can help you with some VBA formula.
