OK, I'm a long time reader of MrExcel, great resource, but this has me stumped and I can't find anything here. How do I make a spider plot with filled in segments of different angles? What I am trying to do is make a spider plot for data which has 18 categories, called M1 through M18, in Office Excel for Mac 16.80, with a background that is different segments of the circle shaded to indicate related topics. That is, M1 is Topic 1, M2 through M4 are Topic 2, M5 and M6 are topic 3, and so on. The closest I can get looks almost right, except there is an uncoloured segment between the first and the last category, i.e. where the data wraps around. The way I have got it to this point is by having a blank cell category for each actual category, to give me a separation, and a separate set of data series for the coloured segments. I just can't get it to colour the segment between the last category and the first. If I add another category after the M18, the M18 entry expands but there is still a blank segment inserted.

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
Gah, sorry guys it turns out to be fairly simple but I just couldn't see it — the last topic need to wrap around to the first, so cell E263 needs to have a 25 in it making each category span across three columns, two of its own and one here it joins the next. It's simply that the last topic needs to join on to the first.
