Colour in Cell

Hi Everyone,
I am looking to fill cell A2 if B2 has data (dates) in it. I am trying to get on top of bills and when I enter the date of payment in B2 want it to fill A2 with colour so I can see what has and hasn't been paid. Please, help I have been trying all kinds to get this.
