Colour format based on cell value question

Hi

I've been trying for a couple of hours to conditional colour format cells based on cell value but can't get it right. I have the formulas but I only seem to be able to enter 1 formula but I need to enter 3?

My rules are:

If B7=>99 but less than 99.9 then shade amber
If B7<99 then shade red
If B7=100 then shade green

Any help is much appreciated in how I can enter 3 different formulas :-)

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
Re: Colour format bsed on call value question

Select the range to highlight (presumably just B7 in this case)

Conditional Formatting
New Rule
Use a formula to determine...

3 colours = 3 formulas

=AND(B7>=99,B7<99.9)
format as amber

=AND(B7>=0,B7<99)
format as red

=B7=100
format as green

QUESTION: Are you sure you meant B7=100 ? Not greater than or equal 100 ?

Re: Colour format bsed on call value question

Thanks for the quick response SpecialK. Do you know how I enter 3 formulas when in "new rule", "use formula to determine...". I can enter one formula to format 1 colour but can't see a way of doing it to get 3 colours.

Hope that makes sense. I've tried to take screenshot but I'm not able to paste into the forum.

Re: Colour format bsed on call value question

Enter one formula at a time.

New formula (amber)
New fromula (red)
New formula (green)

FYI You cant attach files on this forum.
Should you want to post a spreadsheet at some future stage there are tools on this forum for adding small spreadsheet images
