I am trying to create worksheets for solving quadratic equations such as ax2 + bx + c = 0
In A1 I will have the quadratic equation. I need a way to pull the coefficients and place them
In the following cells: B1 for a…..C1 for b … and D1 for c
I tried working with Left and Right functions but it got a bit complicated…the plus or minus sign
Of each coefficient has to be accounted for ….thanks

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Rather than entering a string like "-2x^2 + 8x - 17" in A1, it would be easier if you entered -1 in B1, 8 in C1, and -17 in D1.
