I have thousands of rows with email addresses in column A. Problem is they are amongst other text at the beginning, middle or end. Can a code be made please to extract the email addresses in to column B next to it? I haven't posted an example as for security and its pretty self explanatory.

Thanks if you can help.

Excel Can Read to You
Customize Quick Access Toolbar. From All Commands, add Speak Cells or Speak Cells on Enter to QAT. Select cells. Press Speak Cells.
I think to get an answer you need to provide some examples of the data structure, you can change anything that is sensitive.

By the way in can't be done by looking for the @ because some are like this

A2
<tbody>
Darrens twitter is @Example and his email is example@gmail.com

</tbody>
So example@gmail.com will need extracting to B2
<tbody></tbody>
Dazzawm,

It is always easier to help and test possible solutions if we could work with your actual file.

Perhaps you could upload a copy of your file to a free site such as www.box.com or www.dropbox.com.

Once you do that, mark it for 'Sharing' and you will be given a link to the file that you can post here.

Include a detailed explanation of what you would like to do referring to specific cells and worksheets.

If the workbook contains confidential information, you could replace it with generic data.

I will do that but I really didn't think it was necessary for this one. There are emails in column A amongst other words and they need copying or taking out to column B

The problem, in my experience, is that not posting a sample will result in less help & hundreds of questions!

Kindly don't promote the use of off-site file hosting. Such links are prone to failure in the longer term. Instead, users should employ the posting aids provided by this site, which is usually quite sufficient. See: http://www.mrexcel.com/forum/board-announcements/127080-guidelines-forum-use.html
Off-site file hosting should be countenanced as a last resort only, not as the first resort.
