Hi, the shortcut Ctrl + arrow is skipping fields with data?

I've tested both up and down columns and also left and right in rows.

There is no pattern to the data it's skipping over.

Has anyone ever had this occurrence?

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
Never encountered that myself, but do you have any event macros running?

It's the shortcut for 'End'
So regardless of whether theres data or not, it will auto get to the next data entry
E.g. 10 rows of data, End, then 2 blank rows, End, then next block of data
Hope this makes sense

YES IT DOES.....

Ive just tested it and you are spot on ....it just goes to the end of the next block wether that block is blanks or data.

Everywhere on the net says it goes to the next cell with data in it but they are all wrong.

So I am back to square one problem. Can anyone help?

Each Customer as 50 columns of info.

I have to manually tab right through them all to get to a field with data then write that data down.

IS there any way I can Tab right to the next cell with data in it?

On some customers, there is only one piece of data and I've tab'd 49 times to get to it, it's driving me mad and my eyes are going crossed-eyed.

Any idea?

if you're in A2 & the first data is in AW2 Ctrl right arrow should take you to AW2. Is that what is happening?

ITs skipping data in the middle.

I have found out why its because hidden in some of the cells is a space and as Anne said earlier cnrtl + arrow right key just takes you to the end of the next block.

IS there truly a way to get to the next data cell? because I cannot clear all the cells with spaces in with blank.
