Saw this recently on a CNC Machining forum and thought someone else here might get a chuckle out of it:

Poster: "We machine a lot of plastic and was wondering if anyone here knows how to {technical machining jargon}?

Responder: "Buy your plastic to size so you don't have to machine it."
