hi,

i have data in sheet 1 as per below data, and need a formula to get the data clubbed with similar data and get the output as per sheet 2 in columns A,B & C as per data below

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
Create a Pivot Table. Put A and B in the Rows. C in the Values

Hi Alan,

thank you for the your idea, i have tried the pivot option earlier. But i have problem with pivot data, cause if i have huge number of transaction in year close, my data will get mess up if i formulate in Pivot condition.. is there any formula you can help me with pls..

No further ideas without seeing your data. Suggest you upload a representative sample of your data to a third party site, ie. Dropbox.com, Box.net, etc.
