Several time a day I find myself clicking and closing the clog of folders I have open because I can't remember what's what and all the little labels on the bar at the bottom of the screen disa.....

It would be nice to do it with one click or keystroke. I don't mean show the desk top or just minimize them, I want them gone, closed.

Can this be done?

Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
I'm not sure I completely understand, but try this if it's not already enabled.

Right click on your taskbar and chose properties. Click the box that says "Group Similar Taskbar Buttons." If it is just folders open, they will all be grouped together and can be closed with one click. Word documents, excel files, etc will also be grouped together, but do take more than one click if you have to save them.

HTH!

Sory about not answering right away, I don't usually check this little corner when viewing my posts for answers.

Anyway, my machine here at work doesn't have the button you refer to. The beast at home is a little newer so I will see if it's on that one.

Thanks for the reply.
