Hi all...
looking at a few threads i'm not finding what i need.

wondering if i could get help to create a clock macro. I would need it to run when clicking start timer button in a user form, update Cell B22 with the current time on sheet named SMC Planner every 5 minutes, and when i close the workbook stop the macro.

the name of the workbook containing the clock macro always changes.

i was using another macro, but when i closed the workbook that the clock macro was in (and while having another book open) after 5 minutes the book with the macro would open itself again

TIA.

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
maybe it is easier... but really all i need perhaps is just cell B22 to be refreshed automatically every 5 minutes. then when the book closes it stops the automatic refresh so that it wont reopen the workbook in 5 minutes time.
