Hi
The code below is to clear the whole sheet except the first row.
Code:
Rows("2:"& Rows.Count).ClearContents

I am unable to understand it. I would appreciate it if you can break it down so I can understand the logic behind it.
Thank you so much

Excel Facts

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
rows.count is evaluating what the final used row of your sheet is. Lets say it is 10.

The above therefore says Row("2:10").clear contents

This is the equivelent of selecting rows 2 through 10, right-clicking, then hitting "Clear Contents"

Rows.Count returns the number of rows on the sheet, so it's:

Code:
Rows("2:1048576").ClearContents

for a new format workbook.
