Clear Check Boxes Without VBA

Hi, I have an autoshape , that im using as a button to clear the rest of my form. i want to use this to also clear 2 clusters of check boxes.

Im not very hot on vba and would really like to do it using a macro, any ideas ??

as simple as possible please

i set my clear box, just to clear by recording a general macro in excel , nothing fancy.

Yes, I meant checkboxes.
Unless I can see the code you have, I cannot even attempt to fix it.

hi the only code associated with the clear button is the one you supplied.

do you want the other bits of code im using ?

So you click the Clear button and it pops up a message? If so, what is the exact message text?

It says

"runtime error '1004'

No cells were found"

Put the cursor somewhere in that code in the VB Editor and press f8 repeatedly until the error appears and then tell me what is highlighted. I do not see any way that the code I posted can produce that message, so something else must be running in response. Do you have any macros attached to the checkboxes?

no nothing attached to the check boxes.

when i put cursor in vb editor just highlights areas on my other code , nothing on the clearing code

What line does it highlight in the other code - it is clearly being called somehow!

it highlights each piece as it goes down.

do you think this code is causing the problem?

Which line is actually highlighted when the error message appears (a line with Specialcells in it perchance?)
