Chronological X Axis Arrangement in Charts

Hello all!

I have some charts that I am populating from pivot tables. The data I am working with is sorted by fiscal year (FY) on the X, or horizontal axis. I see that excel lists the months chronologically, however (Jan-Dec from left to right), however I need the months on the chart to correspond with the FY, of which is Oct to Sep.

Is there anyway to modify these charts somehow to reflect the FY format versus the standard chronological time format of January through December?

Thanks so much in advance!
John

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
Hi,

Remember facing the very same issue ...

Solved it by creating a label and converting FY months to Text ... for the chart ...

Hope this will help
