Hi I 'm doing some work with a DB containing UK number plates which can be 2-7 characters, have to contain at least one number and one letter and no special characters. Sadly the operators sometimes cheat by putting in rubbish e.g. ? or MIKE. Is there a DAX formula that can check if there is at least one number and one letter which out using a VBA look or massive nested IF statement?

thanks for any advice.

Excel Facts

Control Word Wrap
Press Alt+Enter to move to a new row in a cell. Lets you control where the words wrap.
Appologies...

My solution was excel based. Didn't realize I jumped forums.

Sorry about that.
