I know I've seen it here, but cannot find it, so apologies for a potentially duplicate thread:

Checkbox added, when "checked", I need a field (AG70) to display specific text/value ("Incld").

How?

Thank you!

Hi Wulf,

Here is a VBA solution (ActiveX Checkbox):

Code:
Sub CheckBox1_Click()
    If ActiveSheet.Shapes("Check Box 1").ControlFormat.Value = 1 Then
        Range("AG70").Value = "Incld"
    End If
End Sub

Here is a VBA solution (Form Control Checkbox):

Code:
Sub CheckBox1_Click()
    If ActiveSheet.Controls("CheckBox1").Value = True Then
        Range("AG70").Value = "Incld"
    End If
End Sub

And here is a formula solution (ActiveX Checkbox):

Set the checkbox to a linked cell

=IF(A1=TRUE,"Incld","")

goes in the AG70 cell. A1 should be your linked cell.
