I have a value in Cells(3, 5).Value and a named range in A1:A5. Is it possible to check if Cells(3, 5).Value is in Range("MyNamedRange").Value?

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Perhaps using Find?

Code:
Dim rFound As Range

Set rFound = Range("YourNamedRange").Find(What:=Cells(3,5).Value,LookAt:=xlWhole,LookIn:=xlValues)

'now check if found:
If rFound Is Nothing Then
   'not found - take appropriate action
Else
   'found
   '...
End If

Look at the available arguments to Find in VBA help as you can tweak it so only a whole match is found (as above) or a partial one as required.
