Check for type of ActiveSheet Cell Value

In a macro what expression would I use to check if a cell contains a number or text?

You can use isnumeric to test if something is a number

You could use the worksheet function istext to test if something is text

Application.IsText(Range("G28"))

Thanks. I guess isnumeric also considers blank cells as numbers but I can make this work combining with other functions.
