I have created about 20 excel graphs in a worksheet but i want to create a separate dashboard just for the charts without having the data in the dashboard. How do I do this and still be able to update the chart with next month report. THis is monthly dashboard so i will be adding the next month information and updating the chart but now when i do it, i have to pull the charts back into the worksheet that has the data. Help please

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Welcome to the forum

One option is to create a Data Table for the data, link your charts to the data table and when you adjust the data even if adding more rows it can then update all the charts, charts doesn't have to be on the same spreadsheet as the data. If you are using Excel 2007 or 2010 then use the Insert Tab and Data Table is on the left next to pivot tables.

Thanks Trevor. I am sorry but i am not that savvy on excel so i will appreciate a step by step process. Keep in mind, this chart and data points will be updated monthly and i have about 35 of this 20sheet dashboards so i am trying to minimize manual interactions as much as possible. Thanks for your feedback
