Cell Charts, chapter 6; Hi-Low Lines.
All right hey, welcome back to the MrExcel netcast. I'm Bill Jelen.
There's a couple of different types of lines that we can add to charts, that I wanna talk about, here is, we're talking about chapter 6.
I have 4 different series, A,B,C and D and the first thing, I wanna talk about is the High-Low Lines.
Now, I see that, this is going to run off the screen here, so I actually added, the lines Drop Down up here, to the quick access toolbar, High and Low Lines will add those in and what the high level lines does?
is it for every single data point?
It goes from the highest series down to the lowest series.
You know, that's good [ ] So it goes from the highest series down to the lower series, so you know, here item B was lowest, here item D is highest and so it always go from high to low.
Let's undo that and compare that, to something else called Up/Down Bars.
Up/Down Bars are found under Analysis, Up/Down bar, so I add that to the quick access toolbar.
Up/Down Bars are kind of curious and that the Up/Down Bars always go from the first series in the chart to the last series in the chart and they're one color, if it's going from A being on top and a different color, if they're going from the first series being on the bottom.
All right, so kind of curious, the way this works.
It only works from the first to the last series, you have to be really careful about what you're charting there, especially they have a multiple series, probably what you are looking for instead, is the High-Low Lines.
Now you understand the difference Hey, thank you for stopping by. I will see you next time for another netcast from MrExcel.
