ok sorry for this but i am brain dead at the moment

I am trying to create a line chart to show the difference in test scores over the course of several years

i am hoping to have one chart with a "blue" line and a "red" line (lets say) showing each score in a given year

winter 2017 student K - 500
student C - 501
Spring 2018 Student K - 465
Student C - 455
Winter 2018 Student K - 475
Student C - 470

i will have a table of data similar to this

I can make each table with no trouble but i cannot add them together, in other words I can make a chart for student K and another for student C.

how do i do this, and thank you for the help.

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
I think all you need to do is have two data series in one line graph. Here is what it would look like.

Excel MVP Leila Gharani has a good tutorial on getting started with charting in Excel here: https://www.xelplus.com/charts-basics/

Hope that helps.
