Hello,

I am trying to recreate a scatter chart that has two set of value, one on the X and one on the Y.

When I am trying to do that I get always two set of data one on the Y and one parallel using the secondary axis

While I would like to get this:

Thank you in advance.

I don't know if change something but I run excel on a mac.

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
Try selecting the right-hand vertical axis with your mouse and then using the right-click menu to delete that axis. That should force the data to use the left-hand axis.

Thank you thisoldman,

I have tried but when I delete the right-hand vertical axis it brings everything on the left one. :(

Can you post the data? It's difficult to tell what is going wrong for you without the data layout.

Sure,

Set up your data as follows. X values in one column, Y values in the adjacent column to the right. Put a blank cell above the X values, and a label above the Y values. The blank cell helps Excel parse your data into X and Y. Then select your data and make an XY Scatter chart.
