I have a line chart with Dates on the X Axis (Jan 1-Dec 31)...and Hours on the Y Axis (0-12). I would just like to add a horizontal line (Series?) at 8 hours.

Thanks,
Jim

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.

I forgot to say that there is a chart for every day of the week (Mon-Sun). So there are ~52 + min, max & avg...so 55 on the X Axis.

Hi Jim,

You have already mentioned your solution.

Create another series for 8 hours for each day from Jan 1 to 31 Dec and plot it.

Kind regards

Saba
