Hello, I rarely work with charts so I apologize if this is ridiculously simple, but I am doing one now as pictured below:

My question is simple, is there a way to make it so that the years display right under the bars where I drew the X's? I really like that it has the dollar amounts above the bars, but I was wondering how I might get the years under the bars if that is possible instead of where they are?

Using a mouse in Excel is the work equivalent of wearing a lanyard when you first get to college
Change your year values to date values and format as "YYYY" Then use that as your x axis instead of a series name:

(notice that cell A3 value is actually 1/1/2016, but formatted as YYYY)

Hi awoohaw, I did change the date portion, but I can't find where I need to change the other portion. Sorry if it's simple, I just never work with charts to know my way around or what to look for. Can you point me in the direction?

I really don't know how to type in a sentence or two how to select data for a chart.
But in your chart plotting area right click to open up the ALT-MENU drop down and select "SELECT DATA" or "CHANGE DATA".
then do something like this:

Here is the workbook, but it will not have the chart object as that is not copied with the xl2bb add in:
And the dates in column A may need to be changed to fit your regional settings:

Right click where you have the x's below the bars.
click on "Select data"
Under "Horizontal (Category) Axis Labels", click on Edit
With your mouse select the range from 2016 to 2024 (Axis Label Range)
Click on OK

It looks like you've plotted each year as a separate series, so you could probably just go into the Select Data dialog and press the Switch Row/Column button:

If you still want different colours for each column, then in the Format Series dialog click the Vary colors by point option:
